poisonisley asked: I'm having a bit of a problem, so I thought I would ask an advice blog or two. My boyfriend broke up with me about a month ago, and we haven't spoken since. I really want to talk to him. We have a class together this semester, and I don't want things to be awkward when we move back to campus in August. If I were to send him a text message, how would I start the conversation? I just don't know what to say.
Keep the first message short and sweet. It’s important that you open the lines of communication without sending a mixed signal or dragging on and on. A simple “hey (insert name here), how have you been?” Now if he does not respond right away DO NOT ASSUME HE IS IGNORING YOU. If he hasn’t responded after a day or 2, try to resend it. If then he still has not replied just go about your business. I know you don’t want things to be awkward but they will only be if you let them be. You extended a friendly hand and he denied it. IF however he answers you, consider after a short chat that you guys meet up for coffee to catch up.
+I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN’T PUT ANYTHING UP GUYS. IT’S OK THOUGH ‘CAUSE I’M BACK!!!!
